As you know, it's an absolute fact that if you're working online, you NEED to be an affiliate marketer.

They need help and guidance to make the right buying decisions, and they know it. They don't need a salesman. They need a friend in the business. An advocate. Someone they TRUST. You only get ONE chance to make a first impression, and that's doubly true with your website. YOUR POSITIONING, Both of Yourself and The Products You're Reviewing Your reviews should appear non-biased and well-thought out. State the pros AND cons of a product. Be honest. You can point out the shortcomings of a product while still putting it in a very good light. After all, no product does everything. No product is intended to. And be sure to write your reviews in an entertaining, engaging style that the reader can relate to. Nothing too stuffy, dry and boring. Imagine the reader is sitting right next to you, and you're simply pointing out the good and bad of a product. Write as though you're their ally, their instructor, and their advocate. Because as of now, that's exactly who you are. Here's the secret... successfully walk the fine line between hard selling and just giving out info on products. In other words, master the art of selling WITHOUT selling. Learn to ask for the sale while still looking like an objective, helpful bystander. Doesn't sound super easy, does it? But why would you? Here's a massive understatement... ...Online video is HOT. People LOVE Video. In fact, there is no easier, faster or more engaging way of getting your point across than with video. Video is entertaining while being informative... ...It captures attention like nothing else... ...And it helps your visitors to understand exactly WHY they need your product... ...And what it will do for them. It creates a greater connection between you and your visitors. And bottom line, video has been PROVEN to consistently boost conversions. Need I say more? :-) You Need the Right WORDS And of course, while video is important, you cannot neglect the WORDS on your page... ...because words DO SELL. What do you think is the difference between a 0.5% conversion rate and a 10% conversion rate? The product? The price? The guarantee? Those are all important, but it's the QUALITY of the copy and the quality of the information you're providing to your visitors that makes the crucial difference.
